It is 0600 Thursday. Tom, Mary and I are just coming of the dog watch (2 am - 6am). We've covered about 135 miles 24 hours, so we are making good progress. We left Buzzards Bay last night at about 9pm, and passed Block Island three hours later. Long Island is now about 25 miles to our north. We've seen a handful of big fishing boats and other commercial traffice, but no other sailboats at all. Some porpoises joined us for a while and splashed around in our starboard bow wave before moving on, Despite it being November, last night was really not that cold.
All is well on Aquila.
